GP Update @ YDH

Yeovil District Hospital is providing a series of update sessions to recharge your knowledge and skills.  The programme will run from 23rd to 25th April, 2008 and will consist of a series of themed ½ day sessions.  Each session will run as an autonomous event, or may be combined with other sessions to suit your busy, existing commitments.

This programme will provide opportunities to discuss current practice with hospital staff and to network with your peers and colleagues.  The format of each session will be based on panel discussions, short demonstrations and focused question and answer sessions.  Participants will be encouraged to be involved in shaping the content of each session.

Laparoscopic Ultrasound for Cholecystectomy Course

This one day workshop will combine live operative demonstrations with seminars, to cover interpretation of ultrasound images and tips for use in biliary surgery. Suitable for Consultant general surgeons and senior trainees who routinely perform laparoscopic cholecystectomy.  Other healthcare professionals are welcome attend.
