Travel Information

Yeovil Academy is situated on Level 4 of Yeovil District Hospital.

Follow this link to see a map with the location of the hospital. There are two train stations in Yeovil, with Pen Mill station located closer to the hospital than Yeovil Junction. National Rail Enquiries will provide further information on travelling to Yeovil by train. Finally, this link will provide more information about public transport in the area.

    The Academy is a multi professional centre providing education to all healthcare staff and professional groups

    The Association of Laparoscopic Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (the ALS) is the professional body representing surgeons with an interest in all aspects of laparoscopic surgery.

    The Cuschieri Skills Centre, formerly the Surgical Skills Unit, is based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The Centre provides high quality skills training aimed at improving surgical competence and execution related to particular specialties.

    The Operating Theatre Journal, OTJ, is published monthly and distributed to every hospital operating theatre department in the UK. The distribution includes both the National Health Service and the Private Sector.
